Lyme Park March 2009
Just a couple of Pics from our day out to Lyme Park in Cheshire, Im Simon will add his as they are better. It was incredibly busy, and we didnt set out til later in the day, so we didnt get time to walk to the banqueting house, which was up a hill overlooking the house and estate (I saw it again on Friday and wished I could go back again soon!). The layout of the estate was a little different to what I was expecting and it was less dramatic than other houses we had been to like Kedleston Hall. It was nice all the same and we picked up a National Trust Cottages brochure to plan a weekend away at some point.

LESS dramatic? It looks like it belongs in Pride and Prejudice.
I love how you're always commenting that your love's photos are better...(and he does put forth some fantastic photos, don't get me wrong...)when yours are just breathtaking.
Wish we lived 'round the corner!
It was a fab house, but the layout was not 'normal' for that type of property. Dramatic, but from a different angle!
Thanks about the quality of my photos, I just know Simon has a much better quality camera and understands it all a lot more than me!
Yes, round the corner would be great!!
