Cruise: Soulac Sur Mer and Brest August 2009

The town hall in Soulac Sur Mer, a lovely seaside town that has been popular for years in France.
Candles in the Basilica in Soulac.
The beach at Soulac - what a wonderful day for over-exposure!
The back of the ship when we had left Soulac/Le Verdon.
Tour Tanguy in Brest - slightly disappointed with the town, not much to see.
A lovely tree lined walk in Brest.

Love the one in Brest with the contrast between the old and new buildings

Gorgeous, of course. And I suppose, to people who live in an area like yours, there would be nothing to see there...but to me, I'm just as speechless as ever. After all, Disneyland is only interesting the first time or two. :)
